Equipment Essentials
Bring a DSLR or mirrorless camera with a zoom lens (at least 200mm, preferably 300-400mm). Don't forget extra batteries, memory cards, and a beanbag for stabilizing your lens in the safari vehicle.
Lighting Matters
The golden hours—just after sunrise and before sunset—provide the best lighting for wildlife photography. These times also coincide with peak animal activity.
Composition Tips
